I have no idea why I'm so into this wonderful song so much recently. Won't get bored listening to it. Especially loved the strings playing~ loved loved LOVED it!! Hitomi Shimatani is a great singer. She has a lot of songs that I like~~

Restaurant City

I was reading Steffie's blog and she mentioned something about this restaurant city by playfish on facebook that i guess she's kinda addicted to it >.< checking in even before her big day....Exam!!

Anyway, I didn't know it was a game until i clicked into it. I'm actually really bad at facebook's applications and all. I have like more than 100 requests which I have no idea what to do about them. But then I still go ahead and started playing this game.

Btw, I learned how to do print screen for this...


So this is a game that you have to run your own restaurant such as hiring friends as workers, yada yada yada... I get most part of the game, but the menu and ingredient thingie still confuses me a lil. How do u get more ingredients if you ran out? and what's up with the locking item thing? and trading stuff?? I don't understand...

So all I did playing this game was step into everyone's restaurant for the first time to get ingredients then wait....wait...wait for the money to come rolling in and up level.

This game is similar to those tycoon games out there and it can be addictive because everyone wanna be rich and successful right? I'm still trying to get a hang out of this game..

Haha Now you know how bored I was for me to play this game and write a blog post about it XD

Movie Marathon

I couldn't sleep yesterday night so I was searching for a good movie to watch. This was when this whole movie marathon started.

I started with a Disney movie:

1) Tinkerbell (2008).

Since I'm too lazy to download this movie I just watched it on Youtube. It's amazing that Youtube have almost everything!

Moving on,

2) Hotel for dogs

So many dogs! although I'm a cat person, I don't hate dogs and dog movies are not bad to watch. It's so touchy in the end.

Also, It's hard to find a movie based on cats. I mean most of the cat characters are evil in movies. Not all, but some of then do. Does cats look so evil?

I like to move it move it!

Madagascar 2 is here~ It's been here for sometime but I just watch it yesterday so...yeah

I love the first movie and this isn't all that bad. I like baby alex, he's so super cute~~

4) Wall E
I'm not a fan of robots but I heard loads of great review about this movie. It's highly recommended coz they say Wall-E is very cute. Yeah I agree, he is cute~

Disney always does a great job ^^

5) Hannah Montana: The movie

Some of the songs are really nice in this movie. I'm not a Hannah Montana fanatic or something but I don't dislike her as well. Her tv episodes are not bad to watch.

Too bad in this movie there's not much scene with Oliver in it, I mean seriously very little.


And so, I still have a line up of movies to watch but I think I'll give my eyes a break. >.< I hope these movies are not too bad.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I love you, man

Saw the trailer of this movie in the cinema and it looks funny. So I hope it's not disappointing ^^

17 again

and some other movie that my friend downloaded asking me to watch it with her. I don't really know what's the name of the movie but she said that it's not a scary movie so I'm ok with it. ^^

There are still more movies that I wanted to watch. Some action movies are better to watch in the cinema with all the sound effects and stuff. So I'll leave it till then~

New and improved blog

All I did was change some settings of my blog actually. Added some widget here and there including the music box with my top 5 fav songs...for now.

No big surprise that I like stuff that are kinda dark but I don't wanna get across to be emo and all. So I made it more girlie like...I dont think I'm those girlie girl type but hey, I'm still a girl.

Oh and FYI, I made the header from scratch. Not copy other people's background and add the word "cat's eyes" on to it and called it mine as claimed by "someone".... LOL If you look closely, you can see a pink cat's head in the background. Since this blog IS called cat's eyes, and I'm definately a cat lover, so a cat is a MUST!

To be honest I have no idea what to write. Just wanna post something that says I totally pimp my blog!

Photo Booth

Never thought that my MACbook's build in camera had any use at all since I'm not a person who uses webcam most of my time. Today I found one really fun application that was readily installed in my laptop, I just didn't know what it was. This app is called Photo Booth. No big supprise there, you probably guessed what it does....Duh.....snap pictures....

So this probably gets you thinking, what's so fun about taking pictures? All you do is camwhore anyway, a digital camera does that too.

Yeah.... but this offers way much more fun in it!

Photo Booth have all these effects that a normal camera doesn't have. OK some more hightech camera does. but mine doesn't so just let me SS and get excited for a little while la..

Ok let's start with the normal ones which are normal, serpia, black and white, and thermal camera. I don't think I need any display of those effects.

This X-ray effect is kinda a normal effect but this pic makes us look scary. LOL

Here comes the superheroes!! do we look comic like?...maybe not...

This is the glow effect..but i dont see me glowing that much.... >.< except being blurry

Colour pencil gives a sketchy feel to it...and I do look like i was drawn~

Pop art~ I was going for Mona Lisa...but I dont think I can pull it off....at all!!

Like all picture effects, this definitely has those background effect like clouds, sunsets, outer space and the list goes on...


The down part is that you can still see some of my room's wall in the pic. Can't get the edges completely covered up.

I think the special part is that the background can move. For example, if u wanna use the roller coaster background, it actually moves as if you are riding a roller coaster and you can see the tract beneath moving. As for the Eiffel tower, there's people walking around and for the ocean fish background, the fish actually swims around. It's kinda cool~

I probably just look stupid...lolz

Here comes pictures of effects that makes the face looks distort like those special effects magic mirror found in house of mirrors in a circus. Although I never been to a circus before, I think that's what you call it..house of mirrors....hmm..

Light tunnel effect has nothing special actually LOL

I have no words to describe this dent effect..makes me look like a grumpy fat lady T.T

I have no idea what this fish eye effect does. Probably just make the head looks bigger I guess..

This squeeze effect reminds me of her....
I know the picture is kinda small...She's one of the character from Lat's cartoon Kampung Boy....

April fool's day

Yesterday was a day people tend to tell lies to make others believe in them then they'll go "April fool!!" on ya. Even the local newspaper had a page, "News is a fool's game" where they have a couple of really out there stories to let you guess whether it's true or false. I'm not the kinda person who goes out tricking people but I was tricked by someone. It's nothing major and it was before April fool's day according to my time. So I'll just let it slide....

Anyway, I had a professional community placement in someplace really kampung like but looks really nice and peaceful.


Seriously, this place is hard to get to. You have to take the metro (something like a train) for about half an hour, take a bus for like 45 mins then walk to the place which takes....2 minutes according to the travel planner. Me and my partner, Danielle (good thing we had partners coz I forgot to bring my phone and I did some pretty dumb stuff. Without her help I would have no idea how the day's going to turn out) left the house before 11.30am which is super early coz the placement wont start until 2pm. We wanna make a good impression so we decided to depart early.

Before that, I dressed up REALLY professional...

and make sure I had everything: my little placement book to record stuff, water bottle, lip gloss, camera, purse and all other improtant things (I wish!).

Oh, even the day before, I shorten and did a seam on the bottom of my pants.


Yes, I do sew. Not pro la but this looks pretty darn good for an unskillful person like me. I'm so proud of myself~ >.<
Anyhow, took the metro and the bus, everything was fine but we don't actually know which bus stop to get down. We think we're so gonna be fine since we're like half and hour early. So we asked for some directions and got down the stop that was mentioned by the bus driver and locals. We started walking and searching for the pharmacy (of course!). We were so like tourist taking pictures along the way. LOL we walk and walk....and walk........15 minutes has passed and we are in the middle of nowhere!

and so we had to call the pharmacy and someone came to pick us up by car. Turns out it was just like 2-3 min walk from the bus-stop we dropped off. WTH!! we were too busy being "tourist" that we just walk passed the pharmacy. But we got there just in time ^^ Woohoo~~

The placement went great! we went to the doctors, interviewing patients, doing more pharmacy stuff......... =.= I'll just jump to 5pm....

As we were heading to the bus-stop, a bus just arrived so we ran to catch a bus. (I finally experienced running to catch a bus as seen on TV. That's tough work!)

I bought another one way ticket back since I forgot to buy a return before. You know how much it cost me?!? a one way ticket cost 3.30 pounds and i think a return just cost about 3.80 pounds. I had to pay 6.60 pounds for the whole return bus fair thanks to my forgetfulness! And I didn't bring enough money coz I thought I wouldn't use so much that day. Where the heck can you find a cash machine in a place like that? Haiz...I had to borrow some money from Danielle to cover the rest of my bus fares. darn!! When can I stop being a clutz!

The day was not over coz we were rushing to get to dance classes. Finally got time to relax after the class so we went out to have dinner before returning home.

That's my April fool's day to ya~~
